I met Kelly when I requested a realtor to view the home I ultimately bought.
With her experience and advice on how much to offer on this home knowing there would be multiple offers, I was very happy the seller accepted my offer. When the inspection was done and revealed some defects, she advised me on how much compensation would be fair for the seller and myself. On the final walk through when another defect was discovered which was not obvious previously, Kelly suggested a fair compensation which was accepted by the seller at closing . She was prompt in returning my phone calls and text messages. So yes I highly recommend Kelly.

Kelly was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and responsive to my needs. She was very proactive. She even arranged to have money paid to me, the buyer at closing. She arranged to have many things to be done, like checking the well, and adding a heat pump to my new home at no expense to me. Additionally, she was aware and caring enough to know that I wanted the property and had me put in a backup offer after the original offer was declined and another buyer expressed an interest and eventually backed out. Kelly is pure GOLD!
If you have a chance to work with her jump on that chance, you won’t regret it! Kelly asks lots of questions to help her find the right house for you. Then she doesn’t stop looking or using any means to find it. We found the place, but it was such a convoluted, twisted, messed up deal -and Kelly straightened it out, kept everything on track, and kept everyone calm and working to make the deal go through. The selling agent was non-responsive, the sellers were dead so we had to work with a trustee, we included some property that originally wasn’t for sale, the first appraisal was done by someone who appraised it way, way lower than its value, the second appraisal came in over the selling price and didn’t even include the second home or commercial building, the first lender only could write mortgages for turn key properties, and the second lender got the deal done in 2 weeks! And Kelly was the point person for all the issues, had solutions for everything, made all the right decisions to make the deal happen, made sure everything was above the board, clear, concise, manageable, and easy. She calls back, texts back, emails and will even send a carrier pigeon if necessary! She will make sure you get the best deal on the HOME that is right for you. She will become a friend. If I ever buy another property, the only person I’ll work with is Kelly Parker Peavy.

Our house was a very difficult one to sell and a very difficult other realtor. Kelly basically did her job, plus the sellers realtor. Her professionalism with all of the working parts was astounding to watch. She knows her stuff, in and out and will fight for you!! We hardly had to do anything at all with as much was going on. Kelly takes her job very seriously and understands that these are peoples homes that they want to live in. She treats people like they are humans, even the ones that are difficult to work with - which I admire. I plan to use Kelly for any other property we buy and would recommender her 10 out of 5 starts!!
We were relocating from Alaska to Maine for my job and needing a realtor that could initially accommodate a 4 hour time difference, provide us listings, and view properties on our behalf.
Kelly did it all with a great cheerful personality, while being patient while we moved across the United States. Once we arrived in Augusta, Maine, she was able to set up appointments for us to view properties. She was patient and understanding as we drove within a 45-60 minute radius from Augusta. When all was said and done, we found a beautiful home in the country that provides the peace, tranquility and privacy we were seeking. Additionally, she was able to assist us i finding a local mortgage broker who was able to assist us since we were new to Maine and our bank didn't service the area. All in all, we were extremely thankful for her patience, positive personality, understanding of the hiccups that occur with long distance travel, the home buying process, and life. Without Kelly, I don't believe we would have found our dream home in our dream State. I highly recommend Kelly for out of State buyers who are relocating to Maine.
